Requirements
Transcripts
Applicants must have graduated with a baccalaureate degree in Biology,
Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology,
or other related discipline, from an accredited four-year college
or university. You must have completed one year of introductory
biology and two additional biology electives (an
Ecology course is highly recommended). Original transcripts
of all academic work are required.
Recommendations
Applicants must submit three letters of reference.
GRE Exam
Applicants for admission to the Professional Masters in Marine Biology
program must submit general GRE scores. The institution code for
Northeastern University is 3682 and the department code for Marine
Biology is 0211. Submission of the subject GRE score is not necessary.
DCF Form (International Applicants)
If you are admitted into this program, the Declaration and Certification
of Finances (DCF) form must be completed and submitted before you
can matriculate into the program.
TOEFL or IELTS Exams
Applicants from non-English speaking countries must attain a TOEFL
score of at least 250 on a computer-based test (600 on paper-based)
or an IELTS score of 6.5 to be considered for admission. The TOEFL
